It screws with when your body decides to produce melatonin. Normal people's bodies that is. I don't think I produce much, if any, so I have to supplement. Also take a bunch of herbal shot and meds, and whatnot, including listening to "guided imagery" audio recordings.hasn't yet.

Coloring books have been my mother's go to stress reliever ever since I can remember. The only time we got along was sitting at the table coloring together. @Khassy get the Dementor a couple of coloring books, might actually help. We used them at the nursing home.

My son of 32 colors also. Amazing designs and color. I tried it but I prefer my pen and doodles.

People who have no hobbies and such are pains in the butt when they get old.
All I would hear my wife say is "you need a hobby" it went on and on. She didn't like my first one very well. Watches can get expensive. Vaping she is good with. As long as I don't smoke she is happy, even though I get that question now "do you need another one". Which we know the answer is no but I don't need 8 watches either. If you are wondering I still like my watches LOL

I have many hobbies. many of which are also useful skills to keep things working around my hovel.
Electronics, woodworking, mechanics, welding, etc

And purely entertainment hobbies such as reading and being lazy :)
Vaping has also become somewhat of a hobby.
I have been 100% DIY for well over 2 years.

I am starting to throw the idea about making juice around in my head. So I think some time in the future I will go down that road. Just trying to figure out if I actually have the time to do that or I wait until grandkids get a bit older.

DIY is a bit slow getting started.
but once you find a couple of ADV rated mixes it only takes me maybe 10 minutes to mix 120 ml and be cleaned up.

DIY is more of a necessity for me than a hobby as most commercial ejuice has something in it that I am allergic to. Inflames the heck out of mouth, throat and lungs. And it is not PG as I vape 60% PG now.
Ethyl Maltol? Artificial sweeteners?
I dunno. I was DIY a bit over 1 months after starting vaping. It was either that or go back to smoking.

I'd love to get into sculpting little things like dog figurines but yeah, don't wanna invest much money into it since I have little talent. What's the point otherwise?

While it may not be "relaxing" in its most literal sense...i love lifting weights. I've been at it since I joined the Marines in 2010, and now being back to civilization I find that it really helps to center me.

When your feeling stressed or anxious, take it out with some exercise. It doesn't have to be anything crazy, just get moving. I think you will find it MUCH easier to relax when your done. I had a Master Sergeant who once told me "Nobody actually enjoys the feeling they get when running, they enjoy the feeling they get when they are done." Can't argue with that!

When I used to be alive, I loved going to work out. Definitely a mood improver.

I used to lift and enjoyed it. Still miss it, lost all my equipment to flooding. Need to try harder to get back into it. Haven't felt healthy since. Definitely don't look healthy anymore. lol

I keep meaning to buy a good paracord bracelet. Once I find one I like. :)
Make your own. They are pretty easy and fun. I've got a couple keychains and made all my kids and my self a couple brackets the other weekend. YouTube has all the videos you need.

Listen to some Pink Floyd. Marooned is my favorite. Guitar so beautiful it doesn't even need lyrics.

To Relax:

1. Total silence. It helps me unload my brain.
2. Salon Day
3. Matching my new clothes with jewelry and shoes with female artist music & and adult beverage.
4. Angelic music while giving myself a manicure with a good bottle of wine (I always do my own nails)
5. Bingo

Wow, this is some good stuff! Much more subtle bergamot, but still warm and inviting. Yum! Thanks @Letitia9
So glad you are enjoying the tea. I love it. I do enjoy Earl Grey when I'm in the mood for it, but it is a little much when I just want a nice cup of tea.

I've learned to love Matcha tea, but it is a real energy booster, not a sipping beverage for relaxation

I play guitar, mostly blues guitar. I like to learn new blues licks online. I also like garage and estate sales. Pick up some cool old guitars and musical equipment like that. I just bought a very rare model Harmony electric guitar. I got most of the kinks worked out of it and then I took it to a luthier to finish it off. Can't wait to get it back.
