thanks a lot.

Hi NineNine
As far as I’m concerned, vaping is the best way to quit smoking.... I’m on 54 days quit and counting. It has the ability to slowly reduce the nicotine over a time period suitable for you personally. Is it harmful? The NHS doesn’t think so, vaping has just featured in their Stoptober campaign. I think there are many on this forum who would agree with them... me included

Hi MUM;), thank you for your share and i will have a try.

Hey,
I started vaping only 26 days ago, but I also haven't had a smoke in 26 days!
When trying to quit in the past, cold turkey I have never made it past 24 hours. I haven't tried anything else (patch, oral meds, gum, etc), but since vaping I seriously feel really good in not wanting a cigarette and that I can keep going without one.
I stared at 6mg and I'm now going back and forth between 6mg and 3mg juice.
I suggest picking a reputable vape store in your area and having them set you up. I think it really depends on how much you smoke and what brand as to the route you take in choice of mgs in juice you start with.
From reading a lot online there is no scientific research to show that nicotine causes cancer or other health concerns that they know of.
In a cigarette its the combustion of tabacco that gives the components that can lead to major health issues. However it's the addictive nicotine that makes you want that smoke.
With vaping you are getting the nicotine, just not all the harmful crap from tabacco
I however am interested to consult with my doctor on it as I know not everything you read on the internet is true, but hey it's got to be way healthier then smoking a cigarette.

I think most people - even when first quitting with vaping - can tell a big difference in how they feel pretty quickly

My doctor and rheumatologist have been amazed at the improvements in my health since I stopped smoking and started vaping instead.

This Thursday I will have been a nonsmoker for one year and eight months - and I smoked cigarettes for over 37 years

Vaping just works...like no other product on the market, especially the FDA approved garbage. I tried everything available, including acupuncture. After smoking for 40+ years, I was able to stop smoking the day I began vaping. Haven't had a cigarette in almost three years. The smell of smoke is putrid, I can't even be around people smoking. Your sense of smell and taste returns within a few months of vaping.
