Few weeks ago, the UWELL Valyrian Tank is coming, and most of vape website are told me that it will be one of the hottest subohm in 2017. Well, maybe they are right. I need to buy one subohm recently, but I find out that the valyrian is simialr to SMOK TFV8. And curious the difference..
Do you guys know the difference between uwell valyrian and tfv8 sub ohm ?
Should I buy the uwell valyrian or tfv8....

I tried the Valyrian at the World Vapor Expo, & I'm totally in love with it. I tried it before the one that came with my ProColor, & I prefer the Valyrian. Great build, & to me, the different pins do make a difference as far as airflow dynamic & flavor. There is only going to be one coil for the Valyrian (according to the rep at the expo) - 0.15 kanthal.

yeah, the valyrian is only one coil present. I think they will release other coil later....

According to the rep, the current plan is to just use the one coil. Their intention is to make a single coil with personal preference determined by using the different pins. Possibly, in response to consumer demand, they might introduce different resistances. I think the single resistance is a pretty good plan, particularly to alleviate confusion with the variety of coil types (I'm looking at you, Smok).

I'm SO jealous. I want the iridescent tank so bad. I was heartbroken that Uwell only brought the Valyrian for demonstration purposes & not sale. Imagine that beauty on my rainbow ProColor...

Does it get hot when you chain vape it like the crown 3 does? My crown 3 gets super hot. Like burn your lips hot.
It does get hot if you use the pins , I am running the one that looks like 2 balls and at 60 w is great flavor and clouds , it does get hot but not as hot as my c3 , if you use the flat connector with no pin it does not get hot but u will have to turn down the airflow as it is a lot of air flow , same as a tfv12 to me .

The main reason I'm sticking to the TFV8 and Sense Blazer is the multiple coil options and RBA base. Not sure why Uwell is sticking to 1 coil for the Valyrian. Might reconsider if the price drops or Uwell adds some different resistance coils.

How is then Sense Blazer? I was thinking about picking one up but i am kind of worried it will be too much like my cloued beast king. Not sure how this would compare to that or to my big baby beast i use most of the time.

The performance of the Blazer is similar to the TFV8, but I do prefer the top fill of the Blazer. Coils are interchangeable. I use the RBA base on the Cloud Beast, and the T-8 coil on my Big Baby Beasts. When it comes to flavor and vapor production, I will take the Blazer/TFV8 over the Baby Beast, but I use them both in my everyday rotation.

Guess I'll be waiting for the Crown 4 if this thing only offers a kanthal coil and is useless for TC.

My C3 also gets very hot, it's better with the 0.5Ohm. Great flavor though, better than anything from Smok (cough SS).

Per the Blazer, it's vastly superior to the Smok in build quality and has excellent top fill design. Otherwise same coils.

hohm wrecker g2 in xxx mode? I wasn't a fan of the xxx mode for ss coils but some guys like it (for kanthal, ss, etc), it was just too much fiddling with the fsk curve for me when the g2 does such a great vape in normal ss tc mode. I personally don't vape kanthal anything and the only factory coil tanks I still vape on occasion are my cubis pro on a pico because I have a stash of their ss 0.5 and 0.25 notch coils to use up.

Finally tried someone's Valryian today. She had the spiral pin, airflow 3/4 open, 97w. Seemed nice enough, not crazy airy like the tfv8. The top fill hinge did feel a little flimsy, as did the button to release the top cap.

How are these tanks and coils holding up? Truth always comes out once the hype winds down.

Never got a Crown 3 due to not liking the key, press fit coil, reports of getting hot, etc.

Loving my Valyrian. Heads up on 8 ml glass, fasttech has them 5 pieces for $12 and change if you don't mind waiting of course

Should I rain on the parade if others are really enjoying the Valyrian? I debated whether to share my experience.

My reaction after a week- muted flavor and whistling noise on the inhale. Smoother airflow than tfv8 cloud and big baby, but has different faults all its own.

I juat ordered one online, hopefully I can get some of this magical flavour people rave about! Ive been vaping 3 months on a big baby beast tank and smok procolour mod, i prime the coils, use cosmic fog or cuttwood juice, set the wattage perfect and drink heaps of water but i never get a real good flavour hit!

I found flavor broke in after about a tank. Better with the spiral 510 pin and airflow about 80 pct open. Not a great flavor tank but a smooth unique draw. Drinks juice faster than a tfv8 with T8 coil. Not sure if bigger clouds but easier to get them. You don't have to rip on it hard to get it to produce.

This is an upgrade to the Crown III if you are not stuck on Temp control. I am only using 30W. At 125W this thing is a freight train. I am using the mixed plug. With the production plug at 125W I could imagine. I honestly never tasted flavor like this. The hinge looks flimsy but it may or may not be. The fact that is "loose" is a good sign. I prefer it to the slide to the side kind and certainly to screw on/off. For current tanks I give it the highest rating ever at 9.5. Be aware of one thing. If you vape it to nearly empty, boiling hot juice is likely to pour out on you. That is just common sense though.

I bought it several months ago... to be honest, it is a very solid tanks with great flavor, I really love the tank

AHH, I end up liking the Crown III much better. This has some upgrades but mainly the coil lasts me 2 days.

How airy is the Crown 3 and how hot does it get?

The Valyrian to me takes too much conscious effort to vape comfortably, airier than tfv8 cloud beast or Arco. Coil life seems ok, just not my vaping style.

Looking at Crown 3 and Fireluke, and upcoming Horizon Falcon. Anything that will give flavor, clouds, and coil life at 70-90w, and DL but not crazy wide open.

It appears you have to take the thing apart to change the coil. Boo. Coil lasted 4 days. next one as well. Back to Crown III vastly superior. Like that other tank the made was a fail. So is this IMO. Friggin wasted $60 on the tank and few boxes of coils. Dangit. The only issue with the crown is it tends to leak.

The Crown III can get very hot if you lay on it. It goes from nothing to moderately airy. You need to use temp with ss for best flavor. Forget the Luke and rest. The C3 is still king. Hence it wears the crown. The Val is nondeserving of a Crown. Plus I find the pop top to be junk and know that will break. The C3 threads mesh but after 10 times it is fine. The C3 will give medium clouds by today's standards and plenty good taste. All these huge coils suck. Baby, Prince they all suck. I mean if you actually want to use it lol. Although for any of these they would prefer like 140W. 90W will suffice though if you set temp lower like 380f.

Guess I will be the last one to get a C3 after all this time. Moderately airy and good coil life would be nice.

This would be a modern update to the Herakles Plus and tfv4. New Sense coils seem hit or miss, not as bad as smok, but Sense coils that last 3 weeks are a thing of the past. Tfv4 coils, especially the q4 that I like, are becoming scarce. Old Smok when they had something to prove, before they got sloppy with their QC.

Valyrian to me is like a tfv8 cloud with q4 coil, no more, no less. Though the Arco 2 coil really improves the tfv8. I have an Arco T6 going about 3 weeks now but starting to leak a little.

As a TFV8 & TFV4 user I can tell you now the Prince tank has better flavour and the T10 coil puts our good vapor production an flavour at 100 watts. Also the coils last longer than the TFV8 coils. It is a solid tank definitely worth considering.
They have really upped their game with this one after I was disappointed with the X Baby an TFV8. The baby beast was okay but couldn't handle 100 watts which is my sweetspot with all my tanks/RTA'S

If that is what you want the TFV is better. The valaryian coils last me 2 days and burn nasty but are more expensive. The C3 coils last like 3-4 weeks. In temp mode Flavor is just a little behind. If you want something solid I say the TFV or C3 but they are different. The C3 is less airy and coils last longer. I always complained mine leaked but I was blowing back down the chimney, duh. Now that I am not it does not leak at all. I think it is higher quality overall too. I think it is what you would prefer.

I have two of these and here's what I've found:

The clouds are better than the Crown III. It has a smoother feel than the CIII, probably due to the lower resistance coils.

The flavor isn't there. I've tried both pins and no pin and used the same juice as with the CIII. There is a basic hint of flavor, but nothing compared to the CIII.

I'm not sure I like the flip-cap over the screwed cap of the CIII. It's nice right now, although some liquid containers have to be wedged a certain way if they're too big. I worry that the cap is a point of failure with the tank. These mods we use are so top heavy that simply bumping the table will make them fall easily. If the cap is open I worry that it's going to break off. The screwed in cap of the CIII feels much more sturdy. Not that I sit around leaving the cap off it, but you know: Murphy's Law and all that. With the CIII, if the cap were to somehow break I can just grab another cap from a different tank. Not so with the Valyrian.

The coils have the same problem that the CIII had in that they're too tight. You have to rough up the cotton before putting it on as just priming it doesn't work. One I had this week I forgot to do anything to it, including priming it (it was new and I was excited). I realized before vaping it so I dry pulled a few times to get the juice flowing, which I've been able to do with other coils. It didn't work and the coil was ruined. This was my own fault, but it is worth noting that the cotton is wound too tightly.

I find it overrated. I prefer the crown 3 and cleito 120. Flavour is better and I have a feeling these new topfill systems could fuck up over time.
In fact I have some of them flip open in my pocket

I think as far as Uwell the C3 is the best they have done. Better built for sure. The snap on cap easily breaks. Plus I hade tanks to take apart the whole thing for coil change. My C3 works fine. Super easy to prime. It will blow clouds if you put it in temp at like 140W and 510F. Or get taste at 40W and 380F. The main thing is it will not fall apart. No plastic or anything.

The newer topfill methods are built to fail.
They flip open in my pocket, that's main reason I use my cleito 120 and fireluke alot more!

A bit further down the line...Hype over..
Valyrian is a good competent tank. Flavor was very good at the time, but there is better now (six months is a long time in the vaping world). No problems with them, reasonably good life from coils. No mechanical issues so far. Still no choice of coils. Probably not worth the price over say, Prince or whatever.
I bought 3 and the 8ml glass. They were my all day vape for a while, but they now sit in the cupboard, as I've recently got into squonking and the flavors from subohm tanks just don't compare.

I actually think it's better than the Prince but the Fireluke is better than both
