Just a little curious at what juice you've been most disappointed in. Whether it was from one of your favorite vendors or from a DIY mix that came out absolutely awful. My worst is from my local shop like six months ago, the juice from there had always ranged from alright to real good The flavor was guava, I remember when I went to hit it, and after the second puff I was hating it, by the fifth I felt like I could puke. Threw it outta my tank and changed the coil. Been too scared to try any guava flavor since.

Not intending to make this an all DIY discussion, I'd be willing to bet that you didn't like it because you DIY now. Total control of flavorings and everything else that you didn't have before, makes a big difference. I had the same experience with my 2 ADV flavors that I used to get, and they were custom made.

It's worth trying to make your own Guava, just to see if you experience the same thing.

Haven't gotten into DIY yet. Been looking into it. I'll probably wait until the weather cools down.:)

Peanut Butter Vape. Hated it. Actually threw about 90 mil of it in the garbage today. Only time I done that in my 3 plus years of vaping.

Tatju juice. I tried several of their flavors. I liked the apple fritter but all of the others were really rather blah.

Anything that said "Halo" on it. I would even venture to say, every ejuice I ever bought, other than MFS's Virginia when I first started, and SweetVapes' blueberry muffin when I finally switched to "sweet vapes." Too bad they had to kill all their house ejuice after Aug 8 last year; being able to get 80% PG was the only reason I still bought that one occasionally.

I bought a peanut butter caramel chocolate diy flavor. It was Hangsen brand. Mixed it up-let it steep and OMG is was horrible like rancid burnt chocolate. I had to pitch all of it.

The bonus of DIY doesn't really bother me with store bought juice, as there are quite a few flavors that I like better when bought than when I made 'em. I might try and make a guava juice some time soon, as you may be right about me being spoiled by DIY. I hope that's not the case, as I really like my local shop.

The only e-Liquids that come to mind being not to my liking was from a company called Vape Nation. Harsh and nasty like swallowing razor blades in my opinion. Tried to work it out with them but never was able to resolve anything and it did not end well.

Plume skeetle infusion. Blechhhh!!! Harsh as can be. Still have a half 120ml bottle sitting on the shelf. Will probably never finish it.

Does Halo actually make any good juice?
Been a while since I had it, so my opinion may have changed, but Kringle's Curse was one of the first ones I had. I did like that one. Ex-boyfriend stopped smoking with Tribeca, but his fave was Turkish. I've heard good things about Shamrock something or other. I think that's the name of it. Oh, Voodoo, too.

Tribeca. It's what I vaped exclusively for the first month. It got me off cigs. I'm not sure I'd like it now, but I thought it was pretty damn good then.

I've got 6 bottles of Halo tobaccos in my closet. They're all 12 and 18mg though.

Ok, I just opened my drawer and pulled out a Triton II. It's got Tribeca in the tank. It's only been there for about 8 months so it should be ripe. I took a couple of hits. Not good! But it was damn good last October, certainly better than the cigs.

Every food or drink flavored juice I bought sucked....
Only juices I have bought that I liked were premium NETs....

DIY..... have yet to mix a juice in 3 years that couldn't be fixed.. by either putting on a shelf or modification.

Saffire Vapor Spearmint (a Nashville based B&M)
It tasted like I was vaping metal.
Let it seep for a while....
It tasted like I was vaping metal alloys.

Surprising, because their "Hooked" and "Gold Rush" tobacco flavors kick ass.

#1 Pluid. That shit is disgusting.
#2 Halo's Belgian Chocolate. The inhale is awesome, but the exhale is exactly like cat piss. And it makes the room smell like cat piss too.

+1 for pluid. It would ruin any tank you put it in, and my whole basement smelt like bad licorice for months.

A friend of mine visited the Philippines and gave me 50ml of SOB Coffee Cookie Delight ... was the harshest thing I ever tried. Flushed down the toilet. Lived up to its name ... a real S.O.B :blech:

Lesson learned. Never trust e-Juice from Asia ... who knows what the ingredients are! Hangsen?

The worst tasting juice I've had was anything that contained apple candy TFA. Tastes like hospital antiseptic.

Hangsen (and the like) are likely used by mixers in the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia and other ASEAN countries. After the Chinese 2008 milk scandal, where they diluted baby milk products with melamine, I can never trust their edibles (including vaping ingredients).

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2008_Chinese_milk_scandal

However, some non-edibles (vape gear, electronics, clothes, etc) are worth the risk, if really cheap.

Same, no Chinese e juice for this guy. Maybe they have some real good juice, not worth the risk.
