Need a Vape Friendly Merchant Account a'la PayPal

Anyone know of a PayPal alternative for a merchant account? From the research I've done all I see is high risk processors with inflated processing and monthly fees offering service to the vaping community. I'm looking for something more along the lines of pay only when used with decent rates. This will be for online use only so no physical terminal is needed.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. If possible share the company you're using and the rates you're being charged.

Thanks in Advance!!!!

Thanks for the lead, Just reached out to them however they can't help me as I'll be working with online commerce and the card wont be present. See there reply below:

" Thank you for writing in to Square. You can use Square to process transactions for electronic cigarettes / vaporizers, however the transactions must be done with the card present using the Square Reader.

You may not sell electronic cigarettes / vaporizers on Square Market."

I use the Square for another business. You do NOT have to have the reader present! However, the fees are higher for nonswiped credit cards than they are for swiped cards. One way around this is that Square has recently come out with an invoice capability via email. When the transaction is completed this way the fees are the same as for swiped cards. But none of this will work probably for a regular ecommerce website.

I can confirm that as a business that accepts CC's through Square. 2.something percent to swipe, like 3.5 to manually enter the card.

I would take advantage of the invoice feature instead of manual entry, it's cheaper. I do not invoice, as I accept payments on the spot with the reader. Just be sure to tell customers they have X hours to pay the invoice or the order gets cancelled. Items will ship after confirmed payment is received.

My notice of payment is about instant from Square.

Try Woocommerce (exclusively for WordPress sights, I think) and BigCommerce.

A friend of mine solved this issue using online platform called AllRates.org. He created inquiry for his online e-cigarettes job (yearly income, years in business, current rate etc) and they gave him best solution possible for credit card merchant processors. Previously he had troubles finding proper credit card processor, I think he changed 2 or 3.

Hope this helped someone. :)

My boyfriend is shopping for quotes on rates--and, he's seeing like 8%. Is this what the market rate looks like for real?

I'm searching for reasonable credit card processor as well, still looking. Here is the quote I received from PaymentCloud. Anyone know of a cheaper solution to accept CC payments for an online vape store?

quote from PaymentCloud:
Processing banks fees -
$500.00- MASTERCARD ANNUAL BRAM FEE FOR SELLING NICOTINE ONLINE
$15.00- monthly fee
3.24% - key entered rate for E-Liquids
$0.25- per transaction

Payment Gateway ( that connects the website to the merchant account) -
Authorize.net- $19.95- monthly fee, $0.18- per transaction

thanks all. new here, love this forum.
