Ok, I have a big list of rebuildable tanks and one catches my attention. It's a bigger bore than the original Eleaf Lemo but I'm looking for an opinion on the Lemo 2. It's half the price of the original too at $17 from MyVape. Thanks in advance.

I had a lemo2 and absolutely hated it...
The space between the bell and the tank was so tight that I had to drill holes in bell for it to wick. The lack or space would choke off th juice flow.
The airflow was too loose for mtl and to tight for direct lung.
A good alternative to that one would be the serpent mini (not the smm) or the cthulu mtl.

SXK Doggy Style, without a doubt has my vote, 28 AWG kanthal and cotton or rayon and you have a great setup.

Skip the Ithaka IMO, its really geared towards silica builds and the ceramic cup, once broke, hard to find a replacement.

I would rule out the ithaka right away. It's a pain in left dimple of my right buttcheak to build on.

The doggy style and the serpent mini would be a tossup for me. If memory serves the doggy style is more suited to a tighter draw than the Serpent mini.
The serpent mini will do a nice restrictive lung hit, if you want. If that's not of any interest for you, do it doggy style.

Hahaha! I'll do a rodeo vape!
I'll have to post on the humor thread all about how to take doggy style into rodeo style!
Good deal on the input, I'll make my slow boat purchase from Red China. Thanks!

Just got the serpent mini last week, doggystyle is much better for MTL and the serpent mini you have to refill ever 5 minutes, maybe not that much, but it is a very small tank though.
maybe I'll use my machinist skill to drill and tap a gravity feed auxiliary tank!
I did see a Kayfun 3 clone for $20 too.

If you go KF go with the lite and I suggest this one:
https://www.fasttech.com/p/4417100

Then you can nano it out with these:

Kinda like this:

+1 for Kayfun lite, to me it's the most pure MTL out of all the kayfuns but since falling in love with my Nautilus 2 I don't use it much. Gonna pick up some more nautilus 2s an quite possibly another tarot nano as I'm loving this setup 1499977523289.jpg

That's so little, lol it's the love child of a subvod and an Alien.
AMAZINGLY, my Kanger Top Box hardly ways more than the two batteries. They will be very nice with a couple serpents or kayfuns and some good coils.
:)
My tiny mods and RTAs... Doggystyle SXK, KFL+ and Erl nano on COV mini and mega volts.

Lots of peeps rebuild those Kanger coils so you may do a google on that to watch some vids, in case you want to rebuild those coils instead of buying new ones.

I also picked up various kanger style 34 ga. to 30 ga. single wrapped 50 count boxes of pre-made coils from Fastech. Instead of $1.50 ea its $.10 ea for coils! 350 should do me for a while.

I got some from Fast Tech too and the ones I got kinda suck I hope u got better ones. I saw some I think I would've bought instead after I already have these but I got a box w 15 different kinds and 6 ea of those and I think if I buy premade coils from now on they'll be handmade or batter researched on my part, haaa! Good for you though, I luv Fast Tech!

What do you all think of the Innokin T22/18 Prism Tanks? My daughter is old school and wants a replacement for her old protanks. She gave them away so I'm getting her setup with new gear to get off anal-ogs

I would go w Nautilus 2 all day over innokin T18, etc.

Can adjust the airflow in N2, can't on T18 and I personally prefer Nautilus coil.
I have to agree, they are the best flavour for a factory coil. If I'm not building I'm using a nautilus mini or nautilus 2

How's the GeniTank stack up in the older mtl tanks? I really liked my old Aerotank before it was lost. I'm looking for that type on the cheap like the old tanks I had.

On a side note I really love the wet juicy flavor from my TFV4 at 50 watts. Will the Kayfun rta I ordered be able to do that trick or is that just a subohm trait that I'll only get with DL vaping?

six weeks later, slow boat from China is my Serpent Mini with 10 wraps of 28ga SS316L and its a big cloud of MTL at 20 watts 1.2 ohms.
My Twinkie diy flavor is a bit off but that should improve with break in right? Thanks for all the help friends! The kayfun 2 is next.

The only problem Im having at 15 watts on 1.2 ohms 316L SS is the massive consumption of juice. It's also only allowed to do temp control on my baby Alien AL85 in Titanium TC. Any ideas to get big cloud and taste on another build?

I have a number of KF clones V2+, V3's, and a V5, recently loaded up on tanks that take Ego One CLR rebuildable coils including Ego One V2, Mega's, and Amor tanks. Yesterday I got an SXK Doggy Styled 2K16 and I'm in MTL heaven with that little beauty! Unscrewing the base is a little fiddly since the air flow ring goes all the way around, but the awesome flavor and super easy to build and wick, tight adjustable draw, makes it a KF killer for me! Vaped a full tank and outside with it in hot weather, no leaks!

I run ss on my pico & it works just fine, will your AL85 not work with other kinds of ss other than 316L??

It's at a price I can't say no too, I hear it's easy to build & it has very good reviews for a good MTL tank.
I don't wanna the break the bank & I love the look of it too.
Fasttech has several doggystyle clone tanks, the SXK has a smaller bore and tighter draw, some describe the SMJY as having a larger bore best for a restricted DL hit, I only have the SXK so can't personally confirm, I went for the SXK for the tighter draw (its adjustable from a tight draw to a loose draw).
https://www.fasttech.com/search?doggy style

The SMJY is available in either a PC tank or acrylic tank, both appear to be frosted. The SXK has the clear tank, listed as PC. I prefer glass, but the doggy style design has threads on the tank so that wouldn't work, I like the clear tank never have been a big fan of frosted though I have several. I've done some research, and I wounder if the "tank cracking" by some liquids is more myth than fact, otherwise I would hear of people having it happen a lot, and I don't. One site stated those PC tanks with the rare cracking was more of a result of heat rather than acidic juices. I don't have the final word on this though, I will let my experience show me and if anyone else has experiience with PC tank cracking, let me know. And yes, I've seen those sites listing juices that crack PC tanks, and the disclaimer these weren't confirmed, just more acidic juices, lol. :)

Black licorice will crack a PC tank pretty quickly, learnt years ago, only use black licorice in glass tanks, also from experience, banana juice years ago cracked my tank, and my wife's cinnamon juices would crack tanks too, I don't think you see as much nowadays, as more tanks are made with glass compared to 4-5 years ago.

I agree with others here, the doggy style tank is a awesome MTL tank, if they had made filling easier, be in my rotation more, but it is a at home tank only, as normally have to use a tool to get it apart, or the airflow ring just keeps spinning and won't come apart.

I use RTA'S for MTL so I think the SXK will suite my needs more. Thanks for the info dude & I prefer glass myself. I've owned PC tanks that have cracked when using cinnamon

I wanted to go with a kabuki but I tried my mates & it felt really solid but did not vape any better than the nautilus 2.
Sure the build is fantastic but I didn't find the tank to be any better. So I did not justify spending £80.00 on one.
My Kayfun lite an provaris got stole when a house I used to live in got robbed so I just want a cheap RTA to go on top of my provari P3 I got on ebay recently.
It's sitting there not doing anything!
