Yes, they have the best music and the best atmosphere and I don't have to worry about jerks hitting on Emmy, although a few women have tried but I didn't seem to mind that lol.
We have lots of gay friends, their sexualities don't matter to us, some of the kindest, most caring people you could ever wish to meet.

No prob but you did miss my innuendo.

I always take Emmy to gay clubs, for one, they are the best and there's never really any trouble there, it's much safer for her and she doesn't get men hitting on her, well, I say men, more like boys.
hehehe not a bad idea really

Got up early this morning to put a nice joint of pork in the slow cooker, licking my lips already.
yummmmmm I did a pork butt (shoulder) in the crock pot a couple days ago with some smashed taters. Or I should say scoopski po-tah-toes. This is goofy as all get out, but I think it's hilarious!

The tide is out this morning, it's so far out I can hardly see the sea, the beach patrol are out (it happens all the time). People try to walk out to the sea but they sink in the sand, it's verydangerous, people have been sucked under and died, including dogs, there are massive warning signs up all down the beach but some peoplejust choose to ignore them.
I've even seen people drive out there and the car has sunk past the doors, luckily, this one had a sun roof so they got out but it swallowedthe car whole.
We have the same problem here with tides and the stupid...
I live on the Minas Basin (Bay of Fundy) where the spring tides can be over 50 feet in height. People love to walk out to meet the water and end up getting caught as the tide comes in around them. It's quite a difficult and cold swim back to shore, and depending on where you are stranded, might require assistance from the fire department in a zodiac...

Here is an example of the tide height from the shipping days in Walton (1950's).

I got it first time, I wouldn't say he hangs out, he just pops out :)

lmao! Jup that woulda been funny. Grab a scoop off yur plate and fling it on him. He'd have joined in.
Hello Debadoo, I've not had a good food fight for ages. Rixy seems to play with his food, like the time he made a mask out of his naan bread, i've still not been back there.

Good Morning, what few of you are left anyway.

Oh well

Not joined but sarcastic.

I here that Lannie doesn't like it either, you had boy.

I'm not really sure why it gets to me but it does, I attacked Rixy with a rolled up Newspaper. It could of been worse. :)

She's been hearing it for 36 years and even though she mutters under her breath, she hasn't whacked me yet...

Yeah, he could have a frying pan bump on his head, but... (wait for it)
Oh well...

Not wacked you, maybe she has other methods lol.

I wouldn't use my frying pan though, it was too expensive.

He seems to have stop saying it now though

Kids have an inset day so more hard work, they should be at school but....
inset? is that like a teacher work day?

hehehe haven't had a good food fight in forever, but I do run around and splash in the puddles when I get caught in really bad rain. some food begs to be played with. Folks that eat octopus......I dare ya not to at least want to smack the tentacles on the table to see if you can get the lil suction cups to stick, then rip em up to hear the popping sound! :D If ya didn't want to before.......ya will now. You'd have to get a big one though, the lil ones just curl up when ya cook em

The way I understand it, the head whacking squad is after us for that...
what?? I've got a whole squad now???

Is OK, Debs. I use the phrase "Oh well..." a lot when there is something that happens (or just is) but there is nothing I can do about it. A shorter way of saying, "Life's a bitch. Get on with it." Apparently Rixy caught the infection from me and started saying it also. Emmy became annoyed and retaliated with a rolled-up newspaper. Perhaps he is now being a good boy again. I never will (lifelong habit). Lannie has learned to just tolerate my imperfections.

ahhhhhh I see. Jup I tend to use that one too. Kinda like a verbal shrug/eyeroll (this is the perfect spot to insert said phrase, but I won't) hehehe

Got a couple of conversion kits coming, these were in a flash sale for the price of a beer so I grabbed them, basically free and a very cheap way to dip my toe into the sqounk world..
Yep have 2 of em. won one and got the other one for a bit over $20.
One advantage to them is they will take bigger attys than most squonkers will.

Hmmm... no new posts? Time for another boring weather report?
103 F at 54% RH = “feels like” ~137 F (58 C), and in spite of this outrageous heat, the chickens laid 20 eggs today... :p

Oh, hey, how about something vape related? Anyone figure this oddity out? I use Kanger 1.8-Ohm premade coil-wick assemblies. Usually, when I put in a new one, the display tells me it is 1.87 or 1.92 or some such silly number, which I always ignore because... well, why would it really matter anyway? As time goes by and the wick starts to gain a slight gunk build-up, the Ohms display is usually up around 2.01 to 2.15 and it won't be long from that point that it needs to be changed (varies from 2-4 weeks, depending on how much constant daily use that particular tank gets). But I have an oddball now. I started at 1.90, went up to 2.12, then started coming back down? What? No, I did not clean it. It kept dropping... 1.7, 1.6, 1.5. 1.25. and all the way down to 0.90-Ohms! It is still functioning very well. As a matter of fact, the flavor is better than when it was brand new. It is reading 1.01 at this moment (up just a tad). WTF? I was wondering if the coil wire was burning itself up without breaking apart and thereby decreasing its diameter (wire gauge) and therefore becoming lower in Ohms rating. But that wouldn't account for the up and down, up and down. That is, if it burned off to become 0.90, it should not go back up to 1.01. Anyone got any bright ideas?
