I would suspect most people who have tried vaping do just use one or two devices, but you are on a vaping forum,..so you are dealing with some hardcore hobbyists here....and like all hobbyists we tend to be a bit extreme, but truth be told it is the hobbyists who are responsible for the advances made in vaping...alot of long time vapers get over the fever of buying and collecting and you will see them selling off their collections and setteling into just a small handfull of gear.i ask this because,i see a lot of people using it just for a pride, not for needed, its become something to show off, like gadget etc
the use of vaporizer is to switch from cigarette to e-cig,right?
we can use the same cigarette (e.g marlboro) untill we die,why not for mod?
I second what @pulsevape said.i ask this because,i see a lot of people using it just for a pride, not for needed, its become something to show off, like gadget etc
the use of vaporizer is to change our bad habit (cigarette) to e cig (healthier),right?

I second what @pulsevape said.
Additionally, you have to bear in mind when alot of us started it was hard to find a regulated device with more than 12w.

one of the reasons why I only own mechsFor ever mod? Would have to be a mech. As i can not imagine a mod other than a TRUE mechanical that would last a lifetime or more...

Why purge??????Which is exactly why I'm purging my regulated devices and replacing them with mechmods.

Purging because they are just sitting on the shelf unused. I would rather see someone get use out of them. I am keeping 3 of them, but those have sentimental value. Why purge??????
While it's true a mech is the only FOREVER. Consideration... right now IMO the best overall mod is a regulated mod....
Takes real skill to build for a quality and safe vape mechanically... all it take regulated is something to push buttons with.
I'll keep my regulated mid thank you..... the mechs are there when I want a challenge or the Shit hits the Fan.

why your first and second posts are so differentoh well only having 1 mod is that the actual question...hell no! i have 6 ADV i rotate between all day. sure I could unscrew tanks all day but why bother. I keep all 6 of my mods running all day every day. when i leave the house i take at least 2 sometimes all 6 just depends on where I am going and for how long
And if my 1 and only mod breaks even if it can be fixed..... who wants to wait
because i thought the question was more along the lines of what 1 mod can you buy that you wont need to buy another one later when it breaks.. Because every regulated style mod will eventually break in some way. Most are not serviceable unless yo buy niced custom made mods with pwm or dna chips that are built with replaceable parts I have 3 such devices called xohm dimeboxes but I have 3 throw away IPV mods that will be thrown out when they eventually break but 2 are over 2 years old and still working finewhy your first and second posts are so different
True. I do not think that the higher wattage Kanger mods are nearly as good as the single cell ones.some mods are better then others
my kooper plus 200w died in 5 months

There's nothing wrong with showing off your mods or with being proud of your mod collection. lol We do it all the time with clothing, cars, and other things we like to buy, not because we need them, but because we simply like them. Why do people buy several pairs of shoes when they only need one casual set, a dress set, and a pair of tennis? Because they like variety. Its only wrong when you use what you own to snob and put down others who don't have what you have. Its only bad if you believe that what you own somehow makes you better than others. I only have three devises because I like simplicity and hate having to decide what device i'm going to use. But other's have entire collections because they like the variety. Its really a matter of preference. "Truth is disputable, taste is not" (David Hume).why your first and second posts are so different
If its a Kennedy, mail it to the manufacturer, and Kennedy will send you a new one, no questions asked! What does one do with a hybrid style mech when the atty threads wear out?
and they are generally in brass or copper which wear out much faster then SS.
After 8-8-2018?If its a Kennedy, mail it to the manufacturer, and Kennedy will send you a new one, no questions asked!
Ohh mods are light years beyond cigs.Carton of cigarettes didn't last forever.........and you would buy another when it was gone. How's that new mod look now?
Lol Kennedy has been around for years and he's not just a mod maker, he makes trophies for the NFL and other things. So he's here to stay. Many people think that their prices are outrageous, but, with Kennedy, you're not just paying for the quality, but for the lifetime warrantee. Also, their products are of such high quality, its difficult to strip anything on it. But if you do, the guarantee covers you. I went to visit the manufacturer a few months ago, and Kennedy's foreman showed me a mech that looked like it had been thrown in a tree shredder. Clearly the owner had not taken care of it plus it was pretty ancient. Yet, the foreman was still deciding whether or not to send him a new one. lol In the end, he probably did. He said that in extreme cases, where the owner was clearly extremely careless, they might question the replacement, but in general, anything happens to your Kennedy and he will repair it, or if it cannot be repaired, he will send you a new one at no charge to you. After 8-8-2018?
Modmakers come and go....
So he has applied for an FDA approval for each of his mods and such?Lol Kennedy has been around for years and he's not just a mod maker, he makes trophies for the NFL and other things. All true.Btw, the FDA, concerning vaping, is just a parasitic agency that wants to make millions of an industry they didn't create! Its a form of racketeering since they are legally extorting money from the hard work and creativity of others, with the pretext that they are concerned with the safety.
Take care of it, and you won't have to worry about sending it bak in 8-8-18After 8-8-2018?
Modmakers come and go....
Yes, I agree. But, if the world doesn't end, and vaping doesn't disappear in the us, Kennedy is still one of the best mech mods in the market. If you're concerned about stripped threads, Kennedy is the way to go. Also, if mechs disappear in the US, but you own a Kennedy, no worries, if you take care of it, it will last you a life time. That's how good their products are. Vaping will never disappear, it will just go underground, if it has to.
