Only 1 tpd compliant rta just getting ready to scream

So frastrated over the whole tpd situation in the uk.
First time I'v tried ( and emphasis on tried) shopping for a new rta or rdta since the tpd laws came in fully and I've had no joy what so ever.
Although initially I thought all was good as my favrate online vape store to find loads of rta's and rdta's but was also a bit dubious about ordering for seeing tanks at all the usual ml sizes they were before tpd came in fully. I emailed them about this to be given the reply that rta's were not affected by the tpd. So I looked at other online stores and found there was nothing over 2ml any were else except the smok spirals rta which doesn't really look like it would suit my vaping requirements.
I tried finding a list for tpd compliant products and came up with nothing.
I then looked at individual company's and found test results but they do not state at the bottom if they comply or not.
I did find one whole sailer witch stocked new compliant products. All seem to be just tanks with replaceable stock coils and either single battery mods or with an internal battery.
I diy my own juice because it's much cheaper and I build my own coils for the same reason and can not afford coils at £3 a time especilly as some of my juices caramelise after 1 tank.

Is this the end or rta's and rdta's??

China is your friend... for the time being, at least.
I don't think customs will bother to analyze every single parcel for TPD compliance
Some Chinese vendors even have European warehouses, so you've got time to stock up before the Brexit kicks in

How do the they plan on enforcing such a silly law when it comes to the average consumer? Will police stop people on the street to check their tanks? Seems like one of those many laws that's not worth following or enforcing. I'd carry on with life as usual if I was in your shoes. Stock up while you can.

From what I have been told there is no legal issue with buying an over 2 ml tank from outside of the EU by mail.
Unless your country set up more restrictive laws than required by the TPD.

It is just that no one can sell them from within the EU.

This ^^ from my findings in the uk so far, its not aimed at the consumer rather the vendor at least I haven't had a package stopped by customs yet not to say it won't happen,
when my nic runs out later on in the year I'll be going nic free so at least it's pushed that forward for me

...sad for the vape stores over here though just means all thier trade now goes oversees that's why it's such a backwards law

No they may not but if they do confiscate mine I can't afford to try and buy it again. I have a very strict vape budget which these days allows for very little to be honest. I could buy from the retailer here but what stops me is that they lied about the laws and obviously know them inside out as they have there own vape line. Also if I put in an order today and they gt caught tomorrow I still would have lost money. To top it off they are achilly a registered vendor with the tpd.
I just don't wanna take any thing I have now on Holliday because I would miss any of them if customs or the Finnish police confiscated it whilst we were away.

How do the they plan on enforcing such a silly law when it comes to the average consumer? Will police stop people on the street to check their tanks? Seems like one of those many laws that's not worth following or enforcing. I'd carry on with life as usual if I was in your shoes. Stock up while you can.

It's not illegal to own a tank over 2ml and use it even in public it's just they can no longer be sold with lager then 2ml capacities.
I currently own 9 rta's and 4 rdta's and each is well over the 2 ml limit of today's regulations.

Have a look at GearBest , Efuntop , fasttech an the rest all will still ship everything apart from built in battery mods

I love fast tech has been my go to for a while now but as America has different regulations in some parts I was looking to the uk store for guidance as to what was tpd compliant until I realised it was really off with the info they gave me. I just wanna make sure it will get to me.
Fast tech will ship mods with in built batteries as I'v ordered and received one before ( not my ideal but saw the review n thought it might be worth it) in fact i'm vaping on it now

A whole load of em lol ( looking don't always equate to buying every thing though)
I'm wanting some thing to go on Holliday with that don't cost a lot but still puts out decent flavour and vapour so if Finland decide to throw a hissy fit and take it ( because of there regulations witch are much stricter then here) I won't be out of pocket too much.

It's true what your saying. All i'm worried about is it achilly getting here. I can't afford to add any more cost to this 4 night 5 grand Holliday (But if i'm not grumpy through nicotine withdrawals) then it will be a dream come true for my daughter who is autistic and will make some great memory's for both of us.

it all depends on what type of shipping you chose at check out there's usherly a work around it. With fasttech if you enquire 18650's and other items considered dangerous to post can be sent via a special post service meant for such things at no extra cost but its not listed at checkout so if you don't ask then they won't post. 18650's though are about the only thing I won't wait for but there are a few reputable company's that if you catch at right time you can get them as little as £3 each in the uk.
Impressive picsI only have around four or five in rotation at any one time ( or I can't keep up with the build time lol) but I really must get some more mods especilly as my old faithful ( sigelie 150 w tc) just died on me.
To be honest I'v only used fasttech for ordering from abroad. Are there any reliable sites you can recommend?
I don't generally do clones as I'v had to many that just dum whole tanks of juice out the air holes or had other problems.
Where's the skyline coming from?
I'll check out the ones you have mentioned here.
Thanks for the help

if it comes down to it you can order individual parts from a tank to make the whole thing they aren't going to deny a random piece of metal or a glass tube...

I just have trouble seeing how anyone who had been vaping a while in the EU would be surprised by the rules going into effect.

But we will have plenty of that over here when the FDA 'ban' goes into effect.
If not mitigated much worse than the EU restrictions.

But since the 20th may nearly 2mths later i see sellers in ebay selling Nicotine at 7.2% upto 1000ml sizes law states 10ml max 2 % max and still every tank avalible just not by shops B&M seem this is targeted the actual legal business an they suffer whilst everyone else carries on as usual until people are prosicuted

Thanks for that. I'll take a look over next couple of days.

I'v only used fasttech before but don't mind the wait with shipping from abroad.

if it comes down to it you can order individual parts from a tank to make the whole thing they aren't going to deny a random piece of metal or a glass tube...

That would just have me completely boggled. I like to keep things as simple as possible and I wouldn't even know where to start with all the parts.

I just have trouble seeing how anyone who had been vaping a while in the EU would be surprised by the rules going into effect.

But we will have plenty of that over here when the FDA 'ban' goes into effect.
If not mitigated much worse than the EU restrictions.

I didn't expepect there to be hardly any tpd approved devices when it came in fully. Most company's are saying in paperwork that November is when they will hear frm tpd about applications.
It feels like they forcing people to give up vaping with the gap.
What I don't get is why do they have clinics specialised in giving up the stinkies but want to stop the one thing that's has helped the most people.
Will there be a complete ban with the FDA?
I did look up a bit on the FDA side of things but was even more confusing then the tpd.

It depends on how they list for Customs , but in uk even rda,s come under them restrictions

That's just ridicules how do you even make an rda Comply with the no leaking issue and most dont even hold 2ml I know the ones I own definantly don't.

If memory serves, Heaven Gifts has a TPD listing on their site. I know very little about the TPD, other than the size of tanks.

Thanks huckleberried I will definantly be taking a look. If I can buy legally I would prefer to.

Nicotine was banned a long time ago on eBay so I don't know how people are getting around that but they do.
The bigger companies seem to be the ones that get away with it like ukecigstore which is still selling all non compliant tanks rdta's rda's and rta's ( also stating in an email to me that rta's wernt even affected by the tpd) whilst the smaller company's seem to suffer or close al together. I visited so may web sites which have closed just looking for a couple of bits it was unreal.

If your favourite shop is still selling tanks that you like, why don't you just buy what you like while you can?

There are plenty of places that are just ignoring the TPD at the moment, why do you need a TPD compliant tank? You would be much better off getting what you like now.

Well if I put an order in today and they get shut down befor it's posted then i lose my money also I would rather buy what is legal to sell. I'v also lost trust in them with the blatant lie I received in answer to a question I asked. If you don't trust a company would you buy from them?
The only 2 places I have seen is ebay and one other online shop and I searched for hours.
I don't need a tpd compliant tank but like I said I like to buy legally and although there doesn't seem to be any consequences to buying non compliant tanks at the moment i'm sure that will come along at some point in the near future.
After searching again i'm now looking at buying what I know and like to vape from abroad

I highly doubt that will happen- the majority of shops round here are still selling non compliant tanks, and if you have used the shop a lot in the past and had good service I would just buy a tank you like.

If not, you can always go used- the TPD doesn't apply to products that are used (check some forums, plenty of people are selling 'used' tanks if you get what I mean).

You aren't breaking the law yourself by buying something that doesn't comply with the TPD, and like you say there doesn't seem to be any consequences at the moment to vendors in regards to non compliant tanks. I would definitely buy what you like now as you won't be able to soon when there likely will be consequences.

Buying from abroad is an option, I have bought a lot of things from China in the past and you can get something from there a lot cheaper than in the UK :)

There is consequences for the company's selling the non complying items it's a big fine and or up to two years in prison. Just nothing for the person buying. I'm done with looking for what the law says can be sold. I'v only brought from the states before. Is there any reliable sites in china that you would recomend?

I meant that so far, there hasn't been any consequences, at least not I know of from UK forums - I am aware of what can happen if they are caught, I mainly wanted to ease your mind incase you was worried you could get into trouble yourself :)

@benley73 pretty much covered the China sites, I mainly use Gearbest, Fasttech and 3Fvape myself, and have used heaven gifts once too.

The prices are a lot cheaper than over here in the UK, I got my first DNA200's from over there and plenty of mechs and tanks and RDA's. When there are offers on some things can be had for like a 1/3rd of the UK. Lately it hasn't seemed as cheap as it used to be, but there are still great deals to be had.

That's probably because no one has been caught so far tho. On the up side I have read that the people meant to be checking will more then likely not have had any training on vape equipment so they going to miss a lot of things unless they vape them selves.
I'm glad people are agreeing on the sites from china makes me feel more confident buying from them.
Would you say that it's much cheaper then fasttech?
There prices have probably gone up recently knowing they will be selling things other country's can't. Knowing that other people will buy from them bacause they can't get it in there own country. Or that's my thoughts any way.
Its goin to take me a while to look at them properly as I have so much on lately

It definitely is because they haven't been caught yet, thats why I said while you can grab one, but China is a great alternative and cheaper too. People will get caught eventually.

Thats pretty much what I have heard too on Planet of the vapes, the people checking will be happy as long as a tank says 2ML on the box for example.
There are new TPD compliant tanks that come with a rubber piece in the tank that restricts it to 2ML, removing this makes them hold much more juice, and some come with a larger coil installed than usual that also makes them 2ML.

China is fine to order from, I quite like gearbest and the British Express option, usually comes in about 5-7 days. Do you mean is Gearbest and 3Fvape cheaper than Fasttech? It really depends with the China sites, it is best to look around if there is something you like, sometimes Fasttech is cheaper, while other times one of the others are.

It seemed the prices went up last year when the Brexit thing happened, at least I noticed a difference straight after this. I do think you are right too though, in that if they know people will buy at a higher price due to demand, they will do that.

It might be a good thing you have a lot on lately, as it can become quite addictive searching for bargains lol.

It's going to cause a lot of confusion though if these people don't know what there looking for and eventually some sort of training will be devised to stop it. Yeah I agree they will and we just have to see how hard tpd are willing to come down on em.
I'm wondering if it's just a simple piece to take out though and will it achilly work with out it. I looked for ages and only came across around six or eight compliant standard tanks in hours and none of them had this. Most company's won't hear back until November from the tpd about results on there products.
It's weird how there's loads of compliant juice but not many tanks ect.

Way toooo late for me I'v all ready been bit by the bug lol.
Currently I have 12 rta's 7 rtda's and 4 drippers. 5 mods that I use daily and three as spares. On top of that I have over a thousand pounds worth of diy stuff. Well and truly bit lol.

The pound fell against the Dollar and every china site deals in dollars , gearbest lists UK prices too , it has flash sales sometimes and then they usually cheaper than any where else , but if you keep an eye in certain things they can either drop more in price or not as much its just irratic at times the prices , ive had DNA lipo mods that are 150£ in uk from gearbest for 78£ then used gearbest points and got for 65£ , ive had dna 75 vape droid for 40£ in uk its 100£
It all depends on the flash sales , gearbest search (mod) for mods or RTA for tanks and RDA for drippers bring up a lot to view i use the app and Collect points made 105 orders my self for 200 + items got some good clones of 189euro tanks for 13-20£
Got some good authentic tanks for 13£ which are 40£ in UK its just checking the site daily to find the bargins

Loved the bellus v1 ,
Ud are working on the V2 25mm had a prototype for 7months but still not released it yet so ? Dont know if they are doing or not
I used to like all the other types but they seem to be all similar recently
Like i say i used to have many of these types myself ,
But moved more onto the single coil RTA Version , and these are made more towards Flavours MTL / DTL be it slightly restricted.
than big clouds but some can be pretty decent at all.
Others are unusual like the FEV line ,flash e Vapour , single coil large wick an amazing Flavourful vape , be it some what restricted Airflow even with the reducers removed,
Some can be cheaper to run juice wise ,use less wattage so less recharging cells an single battery mods can last nearly a day with them,
The Taifun GTv3 and mini are not so restricted its more of in-between a dtl and reduced vape , simple to setup and use but has 5ml -2.5ml capacity depending on mini or full size, can produce some very nice Flavourful clouds too. Runs fantastic on a simple 316l single coil.

Then theres the new Taifun BT that's total opposite big cloud chaser high power , mesh coil and tons of wick
Good clones be had for 15£ each

I loved the bellus enough that before the tpd came in I got a second one. Ooooo
I would definantly get the v2 if they do released it.

I vape any were between 35w and 80w depending on the tank and usherly get through 4 batteries a day. I'm lucky if my lemo lasts me 2 hours from full to an empty tank it literally guzzles juice.

I don't want huge clouds ( which some of my tanks dont give any way) but big enough to satisfy and I do like a lot of air flow I find it easyer on the lungs. I prefur single coil to double because it's just quicker n easyer to build and having a little girl with asd and physical problems doesn't give me a huge amount of time to my self or things I want to do.

What would you suggest for a single coil non restricted air flow flavourful vape that is at the lower end of the price range?
It just be nice to get a bit more flavour out of my juice.

I hope your misses gets the bone marrow transplant she needs and it helps.
I understand it's not easy when some one in the familly has an illness. My lil one has a lot of issues with her asd and was a self harmed from the age of 4 because of it. She has joint and muscle problems on top of that and docs can't do any thing for her. Just take it one day at a time and I will keep you both in my thoughts.
That's really kind of you. Thanks. Just any thing that you would recomend for flavour single coil and decent air flow.

Thanks. I'v just added the SRV4 to the basket. The way you put the violin is round the screws under the heads?
Love the look of it and like that it's a large tank.
Is it easy to track the parcels from GearBest?

First pic is Taifun GTv3 deck
2nd pic is the SRV4 deck
3rd pic hussar RTA single coil deck,

Love the single coils makes it
So Simple wicking,
Simple coiling ,
Runs well on 316l 26g ,
and 26 or 28g core with 32 or 34g wrap Claptons ,
The wicking just sits on the ledge above the juice hole , the Taifun GTv3 is another good one simple single coil
They are best suited to simple single strands 26g SS can be watts or TC spaced build or compact , ypu can squeeze thin Claptons in there. But they run so well on simple builds

All 3 look so easy to build on. When I'v got more vape funds I'll definantly be looking at more. As for now it's just for the Holliday i'm buying so i'm prepared. Thanks for the wicking advice I thought you may av put some of the wick in the hole but will remember not to.
I just wrap my own simple kanthal coils. I'v got 100m 26g and 100m 24g although I do have a few Clapton and a few others pre wrapped but there not used oftern.

Im also awaiting this

Coppervape 316SS Skyline RTA / MTL Tank-$23.17 and Online Shopping | GearBest.com Mobile http://www.gearbest.com/vapor-styles/pp_649912.html#.WUmXicemey4.whatsapp

Its a clone of a 200euro RTA , comes in 4ml you can buy 8 Airflow inserts disks to reduce Airflow or open it up without them , makes it very versatile , its near on impossible to buy authentic version

I saw this one and looked pretty good. But I'll try out the SER V4 before I think bout any thing else.
It's all paid for and hopefully not to long till its here. I added the insurance for postage to.

I saw all the mods when I had a quick sneaky peek when I had five mins spare and got a little over whelmed as there were so many I didn't recognise by name.

I'm looking for a really cheap mod for Holliday so if i'm stoped and it's taken in Finland I won't mind so much.

I tend to go for the cheaper mods any way ( although I do have a panzer DNA mod) because I don't tend to use much more then the watts mode for kanthal. I havnt tried tc yet and to be honest probably won't.

I will take a better look at gearbest soon though as I think it could come in real handy.

I'v GTA get some kip as the lil one will have me up at 5:30. Hope u have a goon night.

17 track can be downloaded as an app
Yes.
but i just use the web keep one page open on mobile/ chrome , you get the links sent via email once shipped.

The wicking for this SRv4 there are plenty on YouTube ,
I've wicked it down the juice channel in the past and it did weep a little , (any atomiser can leak if not done correctly)
I find it works better if leave it a little longer wick tails an fluff it out to fill both side ledges at sides of deck ,

Its good to practice on single coil builds , it's easier to coil it with a coiling poles through the coil whilst leads are being tighten,
keeps it alined and in position ,

Ok kwl thanks I will check out the app and the web version.
Always tend to look at YouTube for wicking and builds when I get any thing new especilly since I had a few tanks that I could never get right like the lemo v2 and the kanga sub tank mini v1 they always leaked in a big way or got dry hits. A little advice and knowlage goes a long way.
I have kuro coolers then replace it with a 3mm screwdriver to straitened out.
