Camping in hot weather?

Hey guys! So I'm going to be going tent camping next weekend, and my main concern is if it's safe or not to bring my mod out there in the hot summer weather for days! I still use my RX200S with 25Rs. How hot can these batteries get and not have any hazardous issues?

I bring mine, but they're a bit smaller, making some options easier. Still -
a) keep it out of the sun
b) you can yank the batteries to be extra safe - but keep THEM out of the sun, too
c) if it's really hot (it IS, here - over 100 all week!) you can make a space for the mod in a cooler!
Like with some of my small ones, I can tuck them in something like this case, and drop the case in a cooler...
Maybe you can figure out a way to do that - keep it dry, but cool.
When it's ON you, I don't think it'll be a risk - just the liquid will be thinner, and you could leak if you're using tanks adjusted for inside temps.

Yeah it's over 100 degrees in my area as well! I was thinking about wrapping it in a blanket and keeping it in the tent or something, is that a good or bad idea? As for in a cooler, not sure about that myself lol It's gonna be on me most of the time, but in weather that hot, last thing I need is a burnt leg and a forest fire! Lol

I don't have an easy solution - but you're thinking right, if you're gonna leave it unattended at a campsite, you want it (or at least the batteries) stored in such a way that EVEN IF something went wrong and they overheated and/or vented, you wouldn't start a fire. That's THE most important thing!
Like i said, CARRYING it, I I think you're fine - it'll just be thinner than usual juice...

Was 110 here yesterday.. 96 when I went to bed last night......

Just be aware leaky atties leak more in heat.

Try to keep rig out of direct sun should be ok...

Unless camping on floor of Death Valley.... then I say your just crazy and the mod is the least of the worry.

Hopefully I'll be alright. Thanks for the reply man! Going to just have to try to keep it as cool as possible in the heat!

I found the coolest cooler on earth at a Marshall's store, it has the ice pack stuff built into the cooler it's self, its not huge about the size of a lunch type bag, Ýou stick the whole bag into the freezer and it freezes the material and then you take it out and what ever you put in it will stay cool , up to 10 hours, I use mine if I am on the road all day when it's hot, to put both my food , drinks and mod gear in, best $10 spent for summer heat waves.

...and another thing to worry about: I saw a post of a really fancy mod made of "hybrid" materials: resin and stab wood. And left in a car, the body of the mod MELTED. Not to a puddle, but enough to deform, and the door wouldn't fit right anymore.

We know not to leave batteries in a hot car - but this means some mods, too. I'd guess this could happen to some of the 3D print devices, too...

Well, I was just told that it's going to be for one night, change of plans. Thank god! LOL also glad I don't have a mod made of resin, mine is metal. (gets hotter in the sun I'd assume) But for the future, I may want to go out and buy something to keep this thing cool in hotter weather! I found the spec sheet for the Samsung 25R but it says nothing about the temperature range these things can handle. Thanks all for your responses, it's much appreciated! ;)
