Hey everyone! Been on the site for a month or 2 now but not new to vaping by any stretch. been doing DIY for almost as long as Ive been vaping and Im not sure Im ready to read up on 8 pages to get fully caught up but definitely wanna follow this thread as I am a Canadian DIY vaper! That said...

WTF?!?!?!?!? Ive been ordering from them for 2 years and I could have been getting Nic from them this whole time! Ive been paying a suckers price to order somewhat locally and getting 50mg PG for $25/100mls

What are their prices like and hows the nic? Cloudy? Peppery? Harsh? Does it come in PG and VG? 50ml and 100ml?
I'm not sure off hand of their prices nor can I contest to their quality personally. I just know that they carry it because I emailed them when I didn't see it on their website.

Cool! Thanks! Will email them tomorrow for pricing and sourcing.

You in NFLD? I lived in Mount Pearl for "tree" years when I was a kid.

I only buy from them now as they are the most reasonable place in Canada with the cleanest nic I've found. I've been pointed to another vendor I haven't tried yet but they are really pricey compared to these guys.

Have you or anybody else here ordered Nic from both TBV. and diy-ejuice? Price is a secondary consideration to me, quality being the primary.

+1 on that! I factor in pricing only when company A and company B have the exact same product for different prices. When it comes to Nic, Im not overly picky but I dont like cloudy nic with overly peppery taste.

Oh cool! I wouldnt be able to tell you exactly where I lived but I went to St Peters elementary and was close enough to walk there but it meant walking up a huge hill that passed by St Peters junior high.

Yup I bought some from TBV and it's not any different from DIY except DIY's is $20 cheaper (looking at the 240ml size). I can't remember if it was NicSelect that I got from DIY but I believe it was (I don't have the original label anymore and it was a while ago now and I've bought nic other places too).

Now mind you I don't know what current prices are at DIY as I haven't bought any since last year. When my next nic purchase comes up I'll be shopping around again. I want quality and a good price but I'm not will to sacrifice the quality in favour of cheap. I've had some bad nic in the past and it ruins my mixes - not worth it.

Right now I'm considering ordering several liters in the US and having it shipped into Buffalo or Niagara Falls NY then bring it over myself. Sooooo much cheaper in the US.

I couldn't agree more. The cross border thing is not an option for me, geographically.

An extended research binge ( thanks for the skills Fravia. RIP ) a while ago produced: http://www.bgpgroup.biz/product/nicotine-base-uspep/

Downloaded their data sheets. Looks like fantastic Nic. Probably where all the Nic we buy originates from, as well as all the Nic big pharma use in their patches, and gum.

I wonder if they will provide samples, and what the minimum size order is. A 45 gallon drum equates to 205 liters.Group buy anyone?

Edit. Forgot to mention the concentration of the above, is 1000Mg/Ml. So, a 45 gallon drum would yield 2050 liters of 100Mg/Ml base.

Well...that's quite the large amount of nic base!

Yikes! You'd need a clean room and hazmat suits to process that stuff into a usable dilution. And, you'd need about 500 people on that group buy :p

Ha! one of those Walmart DIY back yard swimming pools and a couple of oars would do it :D I wonder if Red Greene vapes....

You would need a bunch of people, or a small bunch, and a few commercial customers. Drawing a half liter at a time would be manageable. A walk in cooler would store the rest. Ambitious, but not overly practical in my apartment. lololol

Red Green a.k.a. Steve Smith would be down with that undoubtedly. :giggle:

He's a cool guy - I once ran into him coming out of a liquor store in Hamilton as I was going in. In real life he's just like Red Green, except without the plaid.

fellow canadian checkin in... not new to VU but definitely new to diy... i've been at it for a solid 2 months now, picking up 100% of my supplies from dashvapes (flavour concentrates, VG, PG, nic). Prices are definitely reasonable and they do a point system which is nice (the more you buy the more you collect... i was able to pick collect enough points to buy an odis o-genny with points). The only downside to dashvapes is they are limited to flavour concentrates (missing stuff like custards and bavarian cream). This forum is an awesome place to find info on basically anything i need to know about vaping. Thanks VU

Welcome aboard! Im relatively new to this thread as well but not new to either vaping or DIY! Have a look at diy-ejuice in Richmond BC. They have great selection and prices...and as you may have noticed within this thread...I just found out they sell nic as well, if you email them they will let you know about pricing and availability. :D

Are there any discount codes going around now for diy-ejuice.com?

Sent from my SM-G870W using Tapatalk

None that I know of but I have noticed that sometimes on the last day of the month they run a flash sale for 15% off (I guess when they have a slow month). Today is May 1st :( I don't know if they had a sale yesterday - I didn't check.

Maybe (just maybe) they might run a sale on the Victoria Day weekend. The Broke Vaper seems to have more regular sales than DIY so they're worth watching too.

Great list! Thank you, and welcome to VU.

Glad to be onboard. I'm big on flavor chasing and am a fan of Cotton Bacon. Here's a local resource for 'cotton bacon' ...:D
lago!057800901525_E_C_Z.png

Its medical grade. Tried it on multiple builds and juices ... no difference and waaay cheaper. Whenever, I test a new recipe or flavour, I rewick to get the pure flavour. That bag will probably outlive me.

Wow - 25% off nic at the Broke Vaper this weekend. DIY-ejuice and the Broke Vaper have the same price for 500ml. Guess my nic will be coming from the Broke Vaper this time.

Also from the Broke Vaper this weekend:
20% OFF FLAVOUR ART W/ CODE: GONEFISHIN-FA
25% OFF NIC W/ CODE: GONEFISHIN-NIC
40% OFF REAL FLAVORS W/ CODE: GONEFISHIN-RF

Oh well.... sorry Broke Vaper. Just chatted with DIY in BC and they said they would match that offer. I'll shop with them just due to the better flavour selection there. There's a few things I want that the BV doesn't have.

If anyone else wants the discount from DIY I would suggest you contact them first (like I did).

Too bad coupon does NOT apply to RF SC (Super Concentrate) flavors ... some good diketone-free ones there.:(

Yeah I noticed that it was only the regular RF flavours on sale. Too bad! The Broke Vaper has lots of sales though so I'll just bide my time and wait. Not like I don't have anything to work with here.

I remember a while back someone posted about cotton pads from shoppers drug mart. Could someone refresh my memory with a name or a picture of the product? I know the cotton balls are pictured above but I prefer the pads.

I bought the organic cotton balls at Shopper's in the cosmetics area. One ball will wick your atomizer at least two times. They're $4.99 for 100 balls.

I recently bought a bunch of flavour from a place in Quebec. They have mostly TPA flavours but at $2 for 10ml, $4 for 30ml, $6 for 60ml, you can't go wrong. They also have PG/VG at good prices. They have nic too but the prices are good only in 1L or more sizes. They don't advertise the nic either.
Bestglycol.com
Free shipping is for orders of $200 or more and in the Montreal area only. Shipping starts at just over $12 for anyone else.

Hey i order all my stuff from here. 150 dollars will get you 1L VG. 100ml of 100mg/ml nic. 3x100ml PG and about 7-10 bottles of flavour depending on if you get 10ml/30ml/60ml sizes. Amazing product and their customer service is bar none. 150 dollars will brew about 1.8L of juice. In other words 30ml will cost $1.25-$2 depending on how much flavour and nic you use. Way better than $15-$25 retain. Heres my batch from today. Cost me about

Oh sorry i forgot. Your guna need some 18ga blunt end syringes in varying capacity. 1ml for nic. 3ml, 5ml, and 10ml are the best for everything else Aliexpress.com has them for stupid cheap. Some graduated cylinders and a set of beakers help too. And youll feel a little like breaking bad if thats your kind of thing

I suppose for a beginner it would be acceptable but I see a very limited flavour selection and pretty expensive nic. 100ml for $30.

I just picked up 1000ml from the Broke Vaper for $88 (with 20% off CVE sale on the weekend).

well i make tobaccos exclusively so they have everything i need. And their nic is amazing quality. Nic that is stored for long starts to go bad. I like small high quality nic even if it cost more. Thing about this. It cost me about $7 to make 120ml so im not complaining. All their products are excellent quality and their customer service is great. I only buy buy from them.

Not to mention its dangerous to have huge bottles of concentrated nicotine laying around. I lock my 100ml bottle in the bottom of the fridge and still check on it once in a while. Dont take safety for granted

When I buy a liter I break it down into smaller(glass) bottles and store it in the freezer. It's good for years that way.

BTW, the nic they carry is the same nic that the Broke Vaper sells.

I buy my nic in 100% VG. The freezing point for VG is -38C. No danger of that happening in a standard home freezer.

I've never bought VG or PG from the Broke Vaper but he does carry quality goods so I imagine it's top quality. I usually buy my VG and PG from Co-op Coco and it is top quality but pricey compared to Best Glycol from Quebec.

www.bestglycol.com

$20 for 4 liters from these guys. I haven't ordered from them yet but my next jug will come from there so I can check it out. Best Glycol also carries TPA and FW for cut rate prices and they have nic too.

I'm due to buy both VG and PG soon. I'll let everyone here know how Best Glycol is. It's damned cheap compared to just about everywhere else.

Just checked-out their site ... prices are really good

Anyone try their shipping out of Quebec? How much for 2 liters of stuff?

@chuck333 bought a bunch of stuff from them and I think the shipping was pretty standard. I think his order was around $120 and he paid around $15 (if I remember correctly) for shipping to Ontario.

Chuck? You out there? I know.... it's summer in Canada :p
