There's 2 of them on e bay! I'm sorta cheat tho, I'm not paying $80 for a $55 mod, no matter how new it is!

I know, the only place I see them now are in China for $60+

Just not that curious about it

Ok, i guess i can share now what i have coming to me..I purchased a parallel mosfet box from someone on VU not long ago and found out Sonar505 was who made it..Loving it so much i contacted Sonar and discussed if it was possible to have a custom squonker made to match it as far as the wood choices were concerned....Needles to say his response was very enthusiastic and was more than willing to make me happy with my request.

So i present to you what has been shipped to me and awaiting arrival for my pleasure....These pics were sent to me by Sonar...Thank you again @Sonar505

Me neither! I may just make one and call it a day! BTW, the modder in Australia is getting his list together for a new batch of single cell MOSFET mods. I used to think I overspent on the dual cell, but after the second puff on it I wanted to kick myself for not buying the other "orfan"....alas, it sold a day or so before I received mine.

Very nice indeed! Enjoy the hell out of them! I'm waiting for @Sonar505 to make the one with embedded stone in it!

Hey guys I've got some 316 stainless claptons here that come out to .6 ohms. Will reducing the wraps also reduce the resistance??

Yes! How many wraps do you have? Less wraps, lower resistance! Too few wraps, lousy vape since not enough wick and coil contact surface.

The Wasp arrived and it whistles quite nicely. I am going to have to piss around with coil height... :cuss2:
I read the tolerances on them are different between manufacturing runs. The positive post on mine is a little further away from the Ultem cap than the negative post. This leaves a little gap in the airflow space and that might contribute greatly to the whistle.

You definitely need a drip tip on this thing, unless you vape it at 20W or so... :giggle:

How is the Gorge for whistle?

I splurged on my last shoes. Bought the $8 croc clones from kmart instead of the $4 ones from bargain chinese import stores

Sent from my LG-H815 using Tapatalk
No Crocs for me but otherwise pretty much as I do.

Got no whistle from my Gorge. Little bit of a "whoosh" but not bad...

I pull the coils up till they're just breaking the top of the posts (shouldn't see much coil in the air slots). Or that's at least how I've been running an alien

Mine doesn't whistle but I vape it wide open.

I also don't use a drip tip

Decided to try squonking and, to kill two birds with one stone, mechs. Received my kit this morning: Frankenskull clone and SXK Hadaly clone. Immediately dremeled the edges of battery contacts to lessen the chance of tearing the wrap. Tapped positive contact, as it was making no connection whatsoever. Added an o-ring to the base of the neck of included bottle, as it wasn't airtight at all. Sheesh, what is it, a DIY kit?!…

Anyhow, to my surprise I'm really enjoying the whole concept of squonking (mechs, not so much). This little kit blows some respectable clouds, and the flavor is great.

…Ok, I'm in! Added a Therion BF to my shopping list :D

Glad you are sticking with squonking despite the MANY shortfalls with the Frankenclone

While a fun little device, would be horrible as a first squonk or first mech

Check our ecig city . com, they had the Wraith for $30. A decent regulated squonk mod that usually sells for about twice that price.

No training wheels, that's basically the story of my life. First time I rode a horse, it was in a forest, untethered, and that horse was a short tempered racing stallion, extremely ill mannered after a recent surgery.
You just like to go pokin' the bear, don't you?
I believe My Vapor Store still had a few Dripbox 2 for $20 or so.
