Our cat looks somewhat similar during the opening sequence of Elementary, that Rube Goldberg device and the rolling marble... she LOVES that. But I think it was the nice cello music that first got her attention.

It will be entirely CBS's fault if that series fails, and I hope the creators will try to market it to another network that won't put it on sunday nights and bump it off because of every fucking lame sports event EVER. Idiots. They killed CSI: Miami and the Mentalist the same exact way. You'd think they'd learn... but noooooooooooooooo, they gotta put on every fucking lame sports thing possible, whose members are incapable of telling time or staying on schedule.

ETA: On Sunday nights, why can't they put on the really lame shows like 2 Broke Girls??? I doubt it anyone over the age of 12 would care if that series got cancelled!
We watched 2 Broke Girls for the first couple of seasons, then it just got too ridiculous even for us. They've finally canceled the stinking piece of garbage. I'm gutted that Last Man Standing has been canceled. That was a really good show. It's getting to the point where there's not much left on network tv that we're interested in watching.

I've never been able to even listen to 2 Broke Girls while waiting for something good to come on. That brunette is wearing like 8 lbs of lipstick... to work as a waitress in a diner? She looks like a blowup sex doll. I worked at Denny's for a while, and I don't think I wore lipstick even once.
As for ANYTHING in the "reality TV" line... AAAAARGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! I wish to HELL that fad would hurry up and pass, and TV land would hire some good writers, put some REAL TV on the air, instead of all this lame and ridiculous "reality" TV.

The only "reality" show we watch is Amazing Race. There's a young team on the current season that are really a joy to watch. Doesn't matter what comes up, where they go, what challenges they face, they do it all with smiles and laughter and just enjoy the hell out of themselves. This season, they had strangers teamed up with each other. None of them knew each other beforehand. Some of the teams work well and others do nothing but bitch and moan the whole time.
Oh, we also watch MasterChef and MasterChef Junior and Hell's Kitchen.
We also watch Face Off on Scifi channel, but I'm not sure that qualifies as "reality." It's a creature/special effects makeup contest. Some seasons they're really good, some not so much.
We watch Mom, Elementary, Criminal Minds, Blue Bloods, Lucifer, the Leftovers, Orphan Black and Killjoys. That's pretty much it for regular tv. Mostly, we dvr everything so we can skip commercials, and watch a lot of Netflix and Amazon Prime.

And, I got sick to death of all the juvenile bickering between McGarrett and Danno, which never happened in the original show -- that show has THE WORST writers EVER!)
Blue Bloods (I just can't listen to NYC accents without wanting to punch something)
Pretty much all of those are now in hiatus, except Gotham and Lucifer. And maybe Blind Spot -- we DVR'ed last night's episode, so I dunno if that was a season finale or if there's one more episode. We'll watch it tonight.

Oh, that was last season... which was unexpected, given Abby's death, I thought they were done after that, but it was a pretty good season. The bad guy was the guy who played Dickie Bennett on Justified.

ROFL!!!! Tuxie has gotten REALLY good at feline soccer, with some small soft-rubber balls that we have... but only when SHE'S in the mood for it; if she's not, you can roll the balls to or past her all day, and she'll just lay there and look at you, like "seriously?"
