It was clearos for me. Started on the Kangertech Evod, did those for about 2 weeks before getting a Nautilus kit. Then the Atlantis on a mech(yup, had no idea how dangerous that was), then figured out that it was a bad idea and got my first RDA...havent looked back since lol
Ohh I moved up to Evods and T3S clearos for about 6 months, then to Sub Tank Mini V2's which I still vape daily along with the other stuff.

I first got a set of Riva Kgo's same as Ego 1100 mah but cheaper. Regular cartos and some EMDCCs found out realllllll quick I couldn't stand the carto filler. Got a CE4 then tried CE3 that you had to fill with a syringe. That was no biggie but that they only held 1.5 ml was a biggie. But I loved the bottom coil. Used the vivi nova top coil til they came out with the bottom coil ones! Used naughties for a bit when they came out, then found Reos and RDAs and haven't looked back. Well, briefly I did when they came out with all these other fancy tanks, tried a few, but meh.....can't beat my Reos. Used a derringer clone forever, then found the O16s not sure I'll ever try another, these are fantastic!! But ya never know

I got a few Vivi Novas with the bottom coils for my ex when we were still together. She loved the way they vaped but they all ended up leaking on her so she gave up.

Yup times a thousand on RDAs though!

I have 10 brand new in box Vivi Novas that I got for .30 each.... With 2 coils no less.
Crappy little tank.
Great deal. I woulda got a bunch at that price just to give to new vapers.
I would dare say I would do the same, even with the leaking problem at least they'd be able to try it out.

Think tomorrow I will grill some pork chops and have pinto beans, iron skillet corn bread, steamed buttered baby carrots with them.
Now that sounds delicious! Im doing up some ribs this weekend in a jerk marinade then braised in the marinade and dark beer which then gets reduced to make a sauce and then the ribs get grilled.

Ahh for the best ever pork BBq.
Get an end loin.
Pressure cook till done and drain well.
Put on grill after draining overnight in a pan in the fridge.
slather on the sauce and grill a bit with more sauce every time you roll it over.

The pressure cooking ensures no uncooked pork and opens up the grain of the meat so that it soaks the sauce all the way thru.
Just pull apart to eat.

Very NICE! Might have to give that a try! I worked out my recipe for jerk ribs a few yrs ago, a few tweaks last summer and now its perfect! I just hope they dont stop making the beer I use for it. Its a local craft brew called Dark and Stormy and has a molasses finish so it lends perfectly to the jerk marinade.

I got a VVNV when they first came out, tried it for two days, put it back in the box. Chronic dry hits.

I never got top coil design. Or all the people rationalizing that fighting the laws of gravity with capillary action was the best thing to ever hit vaping. Coil way up there... liquid way down there... pain in the ass. All that required tilting and swirling could lead to awkward encounters in public places.

You have been a chatty bunch, like the old days.

@Debadoo You asked about the board in my mod but Crom more or less covered it, it works well anyways.

So Emmy has cost me more money, she got home and I built her Aromamizer Plus with my usual fused Claptons and I was shocked, the airflow on the tank is probably the best I have ever experienced in regard to smoothness, juice control works well, 10ml of juice, no wicking issues or leaking, for the size the flavor is amazing and I like the option you can take it down to a 5ml tank but I need to order the kit.

I ended up saying f it, bought a Aromamizer Plus and a G Class in Carbon for myself

After speaking with Matt, he is sending it Saturday delivery so it will be here tomorrow.

 I knew it, I just knew today you would have to see the light and get that tank, the 5ml conversion is key to this tank for flavor, it makes it such a low profile tank and the flavor pops, (sorry I left it at work) I'd rather have a wider shorter tank that a thinner longer one.

The is no better tank for me and your right, that airflow is amazing and you don't get any condensation like you did on the Supreme 25mm, dam near perfect tank and if your going to use it then it has to go on a G Class really.

You know tomorrow it's the end of your OBS, it can't compete with that tank.

Will you do a review on them ?

Cool, enjoy your time off !

Yes I will review them both in the same review but it won't be until next week and when I have the 5ml conversion for it, I don't really want to run it in the stock 10ml. The conversion won't be here tomorrow though, that will probably come next Monday or Tuesday.

I will take some pics though and post them tomorrow with a first impressions........I'm pleased to see the new firmware update tidy the menu system up a bit and they added the clock to wattage mode instead of showing the temp, who wants to see the temp in wattage mode.

I was reluctant to get one because I don't use much TC, SS and that's about it so it was a bit of an overkill mod if I'm honest but that Aromamizer Plus blew me away and after weighing up the options of mods that fit a 30mm (I will never do overhang, even if it's 1mm) the G Class was the best option.

The G Class looks much better in person, the only thing that bugs me is the joystick protrudes a bit to much but it's minor, it is a classy mod but it should be for the money.

I said I would never go back to a 30mm again either, I loved the modfather but you had to cram some much wick in that thing and over time it leaks, it didn't have juice control like this does either.

but ya know, this is me, I'm back and forth like a boomerang

Roll on tomorrow lol

The largest atty Ive got is a 24mm! I suppose I could fit a 30mm on my Maxo315 but the Avocado is doing a great job on that mod!

Still no updates on the tracking for my Predator. Im actually starting to hope that they shipped it with those crappy batteries and that customs rejected it, that way I wont have to deal with the 510 issue and I can shop for another dual battery mod.

Don't let the size put you off, the flavor from that tank is amazing, it's built for fused Claptons and the juice feed slots are so big it just gives the best saturated vape I think I have ever had, going back to the OBS almost seems like a muted dry vape now, seriously, I can't vape that tank now,

I think it's gone straight to my No1 tank in just one day and makes me realize that the OBS Engine was never designed for Clapton coils at all.

I'm vaping my face off today and I don't want to give it back to Emmy, shes been quietly vaping on this and laughing inside lol.

Best tank on the market for the way we vape, nothing comes close.

Nothing wicks better either, I do keep quiet because being female, nobody listens to me but I was right, forget your TFV12, your dumptanks, modfather, or anything else. The flavor and vapor production is unmatched by this beauty.

HAHAHAHA! Even worse...I went with GearBest for the flash sale. At $50 I suppose if the mod does make it here and lasts over a month I got my moneys worth lol!

That said, Im on to looking at other options for a 2 cell out and about mod. I dont need high wattage, TC isnt something I use or care about but if its on the mod then I wouldnt complain. Price is a big consideration for me but not enough to sacrifice quality. I am looking at the Tesla Steampunk 120W, the Alien, any advice would be appreciated, as well as other recommendations...looking for a quality dual cell regulated mod for now....sorry squonkers Im not there yet :giggle:

I do listen to you, your a smart woman.......I no you meant in general though.

You hit it on the head, it wicks so good, I hit this maxed out on the Suric and it kept up, you can't even go above 40% with the same builds in the OBS. Says it all really. Never seen so many bubbles in a tank before lol

You know what, as long as your careful and don't keep swapping the tanks on it, I have a feeling it could last you ages, you may never have a problem with it.

The Telsa Steampunk is VERY heavy if weight bothers you, as heavy as any 3 x 18650 mod and then some lol.

For price the Smoant Battlestar is worth considering too, nice mod for the money, mine was faulty but I know Lannie is happy with hers and is having no problems at all.

Trouble is your after something cheap and quality, those two don't go together. If I was you I think Id be looking at the Yihi SX mini Q mini........silly name but that is a really nice mod. Unless you want to jump into 30mm tanks then I'd grab a G Class but I'd be tempted to wait for the SS version in leather.

The Therion DNA 167 is also very good but again, these aren't cheap but your better buying once than having to buy three or four times, it works out cheaper in the long run.

Another mod that is still going strong is the H Priv by Smok, I rate that over the Alien any day.

Therion

H Priv

Q Mini

Asmodus Minikin V2 - Great mod but get the black rubberized one, best battery life on any mod out there.

Lost Vape Efusion duo

Can't go wrong with any of those but maybe too pricey.

Of course, I could go on and on lol

The Therion DNA 167 is also very good
The internet is full of reports of sticking fire buttons on the Therions, all versions, and to make it worse reviews are starting to pop up of the Drone having the same issue. At this point I don't think I'd recommend anything made by Lost Vape. Putting out a new mod with the same known issue? Yeah, I'd just stay away from their stuff till they get their heads out of their asses myself.

Thanks Rix!

I should qualify that while price is a consideration I am willing to spend a bit more on quality, if I can find a decent dual cell mod for around $100 then I will be happy.

I dont use tanks, only drippers so I feel like my 510 on the Predator is at risk from day one. I have a Kennedy Trickster which has a really slick cap so Im going to use that exclusively on the predator to see if I can make it last.

Weight doesnt bother me, in fact, I actually like a bit heavier, as long as its compact enough to carry in a pocket. I have found a few Tesla Steampunks that are well within my price range which is why its a consideration. Ive also heard really great things about Tesla mods in general and I love the look of the steampunk. Ive never vaped above 120W so its well within my needs for wattage. I guess Im more concerned with the overall quality of the mod. The battery door is the same style as the one on the Maxo 315 and while I love that mod the battery door on it is now bent from just normal use with the batteries in it.

I have also been looking at the Smoant Battlestar, again I can find it at a reasonable price. I dont mind waiting and will likely be ordering from FT provided they have authentics(which they do of both the Battlestar and the Steampunk).

Love the look of the Therion too but I could get both the Battlestar and the Steampunk and batteries for both for the same price lol. That one has to go in the Wishlist file for now.

If you don't mind the weight then the steampunk is a good mod, excellent battery door and that on off switch is nice too. Get the brass colored one !

I think my lightest mod is the Vape MX, still going strong but only really good for 22mm atty's.

Did you see a pic of my Steampunk mod ?

Ronnie is playing now so Im off to go watch it lol

I did see that pic! Love the look of it! All my attys are silver so if I do go for the steampunk I might go with the silver for matching purposes, dunno yet, its gonna be a few weeks before I can order it anyway.

Enjoy the snooker!

He doesn't start until half past.

The Silver is nice but doesn't have the shading like the Antique one does, something to bare in mind.

I see vaping bogan loves the Aromamizer Plus as well.

Sub ohm ya dicks off lol

I'm not sure if I should post this but I am because well, everyone needs love when something like that happens.

Lannie and Richs cat passed away at 18 years old, very sad and thoughts are with them both, pets become such a big part of the family.

Yeah, numerous threads on various forums about it. So it does seem concerning to me.
I went looking and yes it's a problem that needs sorting out, I'm scared to use mine now.

Will just stick with my POS Kangers. They keeps on going.

So next year is the "champagne birthday" of the fastest 147?!?!?!

Speed snooker Champagne birthday challenge...

Drink an entire bottle of champagne while watching the run-out...then (attempt to) play snooker! Pour the champagne in to 1oz shot glasses and down a shot every time Ronnie makes a shot.

One would need approximately 1L of champagne to do this.

Challenge?

When I used the top coil vivi novas, I had to cut the wicks short and to the tippy tilty thing occasionally. Trying to use long wicks so they were down in the juice never worked.

Thanks. Wasn't actually asking about it, just sharing that I had a pwm that I loved a few years ago. Loved it so much I bought a second one
