I have 2 Stumpy clones like them. Only way to convert them is to drill a hole or slit the insulator
The V3 Derringer is a 2 post design.

hey JL,i never had my pin out of my auth stumpy...but now i have and its not like the other pins are from FDV...small or large.ima just go with the v3 derringer and not mess with the stumpy clone.its like a tiny buttonhead screw that screws into another threaded insert thats in the stumpy.tiny lil hole for juice to flow...no wonder its hard to push my vg juice in that thing.im sure it'd be a bitch to drill that thing too.
A 3mm FDV pin works in the V3 Derringer clone but you have to shorten both ends.

I never pulled mine either - never had too. Which is odd, because the first thing I usually do with a new acquisition is take it down to the skeleton.
I was just so happy to get one it got a cursory cleaning and has been in steady use ever since
Might revisit the Derringer if it really is on par - I'll wait to see what you think because you do know the difference
the two post derringer is good
my beef with it is the posts are huge and take up more deck space than the thinner stumpy posts
so it is a bit fiddlier to build

btw, stumpy takes 2.5 fdv pin, need to trim it so far you have no grip for the allen key, so grind down, insert and grind more

A FDV pin won't work in it
I'd be up for one so that's a few on the list already, trouble is I'm across the pond.
I ordered 5 stumpies through dhgate
Dhgate set a 5 business day deadline. On the 4th day the supplier requested an extension.
They then informed me the manufacturer no longer makes them. So offered me velocities for the money I'd already paid.
I requested a refund
Seller told me to click "cancel order" so i did. Stating reason out of stock.
Seller immediately contacted me saying there is a quicker way. Please cancel the refund request. So I did. The site said i could not resubmit if i cancelled the cancel request. But seller said there is a quicker way.
It didn't end there. I eventually got my money back after a month.
So just send a query first

Got my O-Atty from Focal yesterday, so far it's a love - hate relationship.
Comparing to the NarDa: angled airflow....a step in the right direction, seems to preform smoother and more leak resistant, intensity and flavor seem to be on par or maybe a smidge better, close either way. Wire clamps....a complete fail, ruined my first build working with them then removed one side, it helped but getting it back in was a pita with keeping the wire in place and trying to keep the clamp from spinning.
I did a simple 316l spaced 3mm 8 wrap build and it's preforming great, which is a good thing because I don't want to mess with the clamps again. I'll be looking for some replacement screws and happily throw those clamps in the trash.

it's one of these from Fasttech. i did have to sand around the base of the dt to make it fit as they are a little too big. i just hand sanded for about 5 minutes and now it fits nicely. they fit my limitless+ rdta very well without modification. these tips are a fantastic deal if you dont mind waiting 2-3 weeks to get them. if you buy them in the US, you'll be lucky to score 1 dt like this for the price of the entire set.

just a note...when i build my goon i precut the legs on both coils and instead of using a rod/screwdrvr to hold the coils i just hold them with my thumb and forfinger....tighten clamps and then put the rod/screwdrvr in and reposition the coils...hoping it works with the o-atty and all the other atty with the dumbass clamp system.and wow the posts are HUGE on the v3 derringer!ima get one and see what trimming i can do on the HUGEassed posts!i think ill try to get a stumpy clone from
