Once i do this mild refresh (parts stsrted trickiling in) she will hual ass. Speedo goes to 160 wonder how much of it she will do. My best guesse right now is im thinking high 130s maby might brake 140. But thst would be the best case. This winter ill have some free money and plan on a full rebuild, buddy knows where to get a performance head im looking into camshafts with higher lift and longer duration. Also going to work on some wieght reduction. Not sure what im deleting yet tho. Ill figure it out.

Not to mention a god damn clutch cable fuck i hate those things. Its always the small bullshit things that get me.

Its for my cars exhuast this time......

Yea. 79 yamaha xs750. Its a great builder bike. Clean as fuck. Not a speck of rust. Actually its the first thing with a motor thst ive owned thst didnt have rust. Salt belt for the loss
Those rice eating fucks @ yamaha knew the middle jug overheats when ridden under 40 & sold the bike any way. Titanium cylinder for the middle piston. Only way to fix that. I had the xs850. 350.00 for one liner. Sell it while it runs frog. Sorry. You got burned. 6000 miles before it melts the head gasket.

Also, i got a running bike for 700 with absolutly no rust and in very good shape. Even knowing the issues, i dont feel i got burned. I feel i got a fair deal for what it is.

It is what it is. I care for you. I throw 40 years of brain matter at you. Been there, done that. I would never lead you wrong, I don't do that. The only time I'm "gay" is laughin' @ Barney Fife tryin' to find my ass.

I understand. I am sharing more years than you are ready for. Harleys require a lot more care than rice rockets. Learn to walk before you try to run. Sometimes I forget your a young man. I deal best face to face.

Maintence dont bother me. I replaced more ford transmitions then i could count when i was still a profesional wrench. New to bikes but a r stroke is a 4 stroke no matter how big they are. From what im learning, bikes are simple compared to modern cars

They are. On 4 wheels you come to a stop if it breaks, on 2 you die. Most people that are learning don't understand that.

The average horse weighs about 1100 lbs. When you put the power of a hundred plus horse power to one rear wheel you better hang on. ( this message brought to you by the Sub Commanders Association) rotfl
