Ah, the bulletproof sense that one possesses when they're thirty-five and younger. @always9988: though many of us at The Corner may be over fifty, we are still nineteen in our minds. Your time will come, and then you'll understand.

Enjoy your Kevlar while you can .

LW & Liz
I'm 23 rotfl. Beautiful home. Remember to take an hour a day to Rock :)

Hi all..home recovering from my trip...there isn't enough caffine lolol. Might have some pool time with the boy today

Vape on

Liz and I send a special hello to you, @boriqua75. Life can be disappointingly unfair, especially when it comes to the welfare of the ones we love.

Revel in your pooltime with your child, and psychically heal. As an ICU nurse, you know firsthand about how tenuous life can be.

Be well, hon .

Yeps. I know about chronic pain. Neurologists probably look at my MRIs, and howl with laughter. 2.53 lbs of titanium; two cages; two stabilizing rods; one, that looks like the clutch handle off of @Saddletramp1200's cycle.

Yet, I make myself walk, even though I have to use a cane. Clots are my enemy.

When I have to go long distances, out comes my Hoveround.

Though I'm in a pain management program, I avoid the pills as much as I can - and use Lidocaine patches.

I will continue, even after four back surgeries. I will turn fifty-four in seventeen days (sigh).

The mind rules the corporeal parts.

@RatRacer[/USER], the Rat Motor is the big-block of kings; my fave, the 427 aluminum-block found in '69 'Vettes and COPO Camaros)
Had a ZL1 vette in the garage briefly in the late 70's, when dad moved us to a home 8 miles from Atco Dragway, so he could conveniently go play. My moniker is a play on the many levels of what is me, from my real life nickname, my love of Chevrolet's, to my dad pushing me out the door at 18, saying time to join the rat race.

We're eyeballing a 4K 240 kHz 65-inch Samsung... the connections my mother-in-law has are quite amazing.
I currently have the 1080p version of that. Just waiting for content and peripheral tech to catch up,and prices to drop as the market expands.

I do 99% of the cooking; so, I'm setting it up the way that I like. I'm a firm person when it comes to 'a place for everything, and everything in its place.'
I am the same here.

Kratom. Kratom is your friend. Even my husband (15 screws, three plates in ankle/ 4 plates in neck) uses it and he hates pills of every kind. It works!

Also Happy Birthday! Mines on July 4th.

Good morning, @pete67; @Huckleberried; @Whiskey; @Kevin H; @Saddletramp1200 (my bro!); @always9988; @Skullzz; @Markw4mms; @Thejackson5; @boriqua75; @Break-19; @Boattlebot; @itsmenotyou; @SirVtHondaGuy08; @RatRacer; @MKPM; (@RatRacer, the Rat Motor is the big-block of kings; my fave, the 427 aluminum-block found in '69 'Vettes and COPO Camaros); and, everyone else here this morning. Liz says 'Good Morning' to all, as she slurps her copper-colored Uwell Crown (Ethos Krispy Treats), and I vape the Strawberry Mini Muffin Man through my 'Crown In Black.'

Yes, we're at 3 mg nic, and the flavor is stupendous. Our three chaise lounges should be here this week, with matching runner carpets for each. We're eyeballing a 4K 240 kHz 65-inch Samsung... the connections my mother-in-law has are quite amazing.

I took out my forged knife set last night, washed them and put them into their 'block,' so sharp and so cool. As Liz napped, I took over the kitchen setup: cleaning items, like Bon Ami, Kaboom, Easy-Off, et cetera - have been removed from the food storage side of the kitchen, and placed where they belong - upon a large, metal storage area that slides out like a drawer.

Under the sink (!).

We have a slide-out stainless steel dish drain with toweling underneath, in the large cabinet beside the the ceramic-glass range/microwave-convection oven with built-in hood.

I do 99% of the cooking; so, I'm setting it up the way that I like. I'm a firm person when it comes to 'a place for everything, and everything in its place.'

No cross-contamination will be acceptable. If I need digestion help, I'll go with BeneFiber and bifidus regularis :bliss:...

To all, a good week. @pete67, Liz does breathing treatments through her atomizer three times a week for her COPD. You take care of yourself, dear friend, and tell Sue hello for Liz and I.

Be back later .

LW & Liz (only @Saddletramp1200 would tell anyone that his O2 tank is a Texas-sized Whippet rotfl)
Good afternoon LW&Liz:wave:

Eh, it helps but it's no miracle substance. I jumped on that bandwagon and ordered 11 kilos of the stuff direct out of Indonesia. I use it from time to time, it takes the edge off at least. But I am over ran with the stuff....every vein out there I must have lol

Hell, if you don't want it shoot me a PM and we'll work something out. It does go bad after a while. I'd hate for it to go to waste. I love the stuff. It's my replacement for coffee (which I hate with a fiery passion).

Yes it will go bad. I keep it in a cool dark place so it lasts a while. Will shoot you a message when I get home.
