Anyone else love the drip tip the bf mod Comes with? After I made the bottom hole as wide as the top it's now my favorite drip tip.

I can't use anything else besides my clone dotmod tips, I don't care for curved ones, have you tried the dotmods?

I'm liking the Cherry friction fit wide bore tips.

I need to convert an Aeolus to bf, it's my been daily vape for a long time. I am spoiled to it's great flavor. Problem is the pos. pin is very narrow and I'm always leery cutting channels in the insulator. I may have to play around with other bases that fit the Aeolus barrel, I have a Stumpy I might can get to work with thicker orings.

See if the center pin the bf rda the mod came with fits. It's narrow. That way you only have to drill a exit hole on the center pin

I will, but I think it's thicker. I just checked it does fit, I'll have to shorten it some but I think I can get it to work. Thanks for the tip.

Nope, too small. Just tried it on the Petri and my lips touch the top cap. I thought the heat sink looking thing was part of the driptip, didn't really look at it till now. But it's some kind of anti spit back thing that is part of the barrel. Stupid, restricts airflow. Guess it's supposed to be a mtl dripper lol.

Got mine and build the atty it came with. It's not bad, it would be better if it was about 5mm shorter . The mod it's self if pretty sweet. I haven't built for a mech in a long while lol

That way will work with larger pins, but some are small and one would need surgeon like skills with the dremel to cut a slot in them. And the looks of that would bother me. Yeah, no will see it or know, except me and it would bug me every time I looked at that hack job. If that is my only option on converting a dripper, I will convert a different one.
Fatdaddyvapes.com sells bf pin in two sizes 2.5 & 3mm I bet one of those fits

Petri, Stumpy, and Goon clones use the 2.5mm. WARNING - the pin needs to be shortened for the Goon or the threads will run into the bottom of the posts.

Same with the Aeolus, bf pin that comes with the cc works, shorten maybe 1/2mm to 1 mm, dremel a slot in the pos post, good to go.

Have an issue with this unit. The fire button was feeling a little notchy or gritty and was getting an intermittent no fire when button pushed. Looking at it I could see that the contact screw did not look square to the delrin button. Pulled it apart and it was was either cross threaded when assembled or the threaded hole in the delrin button is slightly off center bore axis. If I had metric taps could probably clean up and square the threads. But for now it's down until/if I can get a replacement button. Dre, could you see if they could toss in an extra plastic fire button on the next shipment?

edit - pretty sure now that the female thread axis is slightly out of square to the sides of the button shaft. Got the threads cleaned up to working after a fashion, but the further in the screw goes the more you can see angle or tilt of the screw head. The hole appears centered in the shaft. I'm attempting to square it up by keeping the screw head 90 degrees to the shaft while screwing it in, but the material is just hard enough to make that difficult. If I had the correct tap I could probably make it usable.

OK I'll ask tonight. I had a crunch in the switch too till I bent the copper bar slightly and it fixed it.

It does but I like that they're not hex screws, and I want to throw some on my velocity clone

There is one feature about this mod that makes it truly different than some of the "boutique" mods I have seen- the battery goes in from the bottom and can be tightened up, ensuring solid current flow. This is worlds better than the battery just dropping in from above. It's a pretty kickass design. :)

I wish someone would make a affordable dual battery squonker that's the same size as the cricket. Just add the bottle to the front so it's a small triangle shape mod.

You should check into this for a group buy they have them on thingaverse so I bet they're being mass produced somewhere.
